History:
At the beginning of 1917, the association of former students of the French secular mission organised a concert in favour of Serbian war victims under the patronage of Prince Regent Alexander of Serbia. Jouve is responsible for the programme of the concert which takes place in Salonika. On the cover is the German eagle in the pillory. Back in France after the war, he used this motif for a lithograph that he printed on Japan pearly in about fifteen copies.
