A white glazed earthenware oval plate decorated with a dove with an olive branch, signed at the bottom and dated at the top. Unique model marked with the Madoura full fire stamp on the reverse.

Thirteen plates were made in the Madoura workshops for the XIIIth Congress of the French Communist Party, which held a Peace Conference on 7 June 1954, during which each participant received one of these pieces, painted by the artist himself.
